Into the sylvan shadows yearning for or anxious about the star's arrival, one more blended in, casually, almost dismissively. Seemingly without purpose. And yet his presence drew a tilt in the pre-diurnal buzz of the forest, a noticeable one.

[Sacha Ordo]

Not far away, a Mandalorian was making her way through the forest on the way into town for the day, her bag strapped across her. She sent out a few messages as she went, making sure people were okay after yesterday. Then she looked up. The forest seemed... Different. She looked around. Was there someone else here?

[Daunt]

The presence detected the presence. Initially, the hunter might have assumed it to be another predator, and likely he wouldn't be wrong, but an armoured sentient, a Mandalorian, was one not to be subjected to generalisations. They were recognised.

"We meet again." The double sword-spear was lowered as the large Zabrak stepped out. "I assume it's not for mutual violence, but if I am wrong, I'll comply."

[Sacha Ordo]

They watched warily. He could feel it even with the helmet. "... I don't see a reason to fight at this point, Tall, Dark, and Spiky. What's your name? Things were a little tense for introductions before."

[Daunt]

"Daunt. But Tall, Dark and Spiky makes the picture fuller." He said it deadpan, but some humour could have been felt. "Things get weird where there are too many people. They get antsy from overcrowding. Ain't it so, Pothead?"

[Sacha Ordo]

She made a wheezing noise that might have been a suppressed laugh. "Nah, 'muscular' instead of spiky would've addressed the general..." She gestured up and down at him. "... Fullness."

"Yeah, you're not wrong. Sacha Ordo."

[Daunt]

"Everyone sees the abs. What about my interesting personality?" Daunt took a step forward. "I get you're a hunter, Sacha Ordo."

[Sacha Ordo]

"All I know about your personality is that you can take a joke. Which, don't get me wrong, I appreciate." She shook her head. "Not generally. Unless you count hunting for parts."

[Daunt]

"Ah, so you're like a witch-doctor. Only horns, tusks and livers." That was his way of showing that he could make a joke as well.

[Sacha Ordo]

"That'd be a fascinating piece of armor," she said thoughtfully before laughing. "You local, Daunt?"

[Daunt]

"Not really. But I slowly blend in." He cast his cloak aside, revealing his own armour, made definitely of hard animal parts, polished to an ominous sheen. "You mean like this one?"

[Sacha Ordo]

"Oh hey... I wanted to get a better look at that," she said, pacing around him and looking critically at the chitinous plates. "Very interesting. What did the plates come from?"

[Daunt]

"Off-world creatures. Joints are rancor skin, I think. The rest, the plates, perhaps you can tell me." He was still during their investigation.

[Sacha Ordo]

She tapped gently on his chest plate and shook her head. "Never seen it before. I'd have to do a little research."

"If you're not local, what brings you here? Bankor's not a total backwater, but it's a bit of one."

[Daunt]

"Let's say I got fed up with the last place. It's still a stopover on a journey that can bring me somewhere I don't know much about yet." Her inquisitiveness raised a horn and he poked back at her chest plate. "It's not the legendary beskar, is it?"

[Sacha Ordo]

"I can relate to getting fed up," she mused, then shook her head. "It isn't. It will be soon enough... At least, that's the plan." How she'd get ahold of it was another matter entirely.

[Daunt]

"So you hope to obtain it here, on Bankor." He looked around. "Probably it doesn't lie anywhere in the undergrowth though. Or does it?"

[Sacha Ordo]

She smiled under her helmet and it came out in her voice. "Not that I know of. But there were plenty of Mandalorians here at one time. There might be some yet unrecovered."

[Daunt]

"I know an archeologist. Maybe something can be dug out from a site of an ancient battle?" Daunt also curved his lips up a bit, not enough to bare teeth though.

[Sacha Ordo]

"Hmmm... There's a possibility..." She replied. She rubbed the bottom of her helmet as if it were her chin. "That's a good idea."

[Daunt]

"The name is Vaya something, a Balosar. She can often be found at the Nerf. Can''t say telling her my name would do anything in your favour, so you' d have to figure things out on your own."

[Sacha Ordo]

"All right. I might look her up," she agreed. "It's not like I'm a prodigy at making friends myself, so..." She shrugged. She couldn't judge.

[Daunt]

"So, are we going to kill something or not?" He rolled the hilt of his zhaboka.

[Sacha Ordo]

"... Sure, why the kriff not," she replied at the sudden change of subject, pulling out her sword. "Feel free to take the lead."
