So, how are we entering team? What's our general disguise.
I think I originally went for Security technician on board or something like that but did we want to solidify that or?
As far as skills, I've a spread. I built as a thief so I touch on just about everything.

I'm in the resistance thread but will be available if necesarry. I have stealth, streetwise, perception, coordination, ranged heavy if it comes down to that.
I could also be on standby in case it goes to a shoot out if that's allowed. I'm interested in this story line but the resistance one too IC priority.

Roster Thus Far: (This is with Re-confirmation Day Of)
Vaya (Confirmed)
Bowse (This may be presumptuous, but as you made the first call: Confirmed)
Jenna (Confirmed)
Venator (Confirmed)
Non-confirmed as of Day 3: (Showed interest in RP thread, but may choose to be elsewhere.)
Jurdak (Partial Day 3 Confirmation)
Jabber
Djanik (Partial Day 3 Confirmation)
Did I miss anyone?
Djanik and Jurdak, we shall let you know. As roster so far dictates we may likely be filling those last two spots with people who have nothing else going on. Sounds fair, yea?

Re: Great Boat Heist on Day 3
Some Planning given the above Confirmed Roster:
(I am hoping my organizing here proves helpful, note that these largely reflect my personal thought not how things have to be)
Entry/Disguise:
We neglected to confirm what kind of party this is, I think, or maybe it was told to us and I forgot. Getting a sense of who can be guests would be immense help prior.
Jenna:
Can go pretty much anyway, as a Human even if it is a heavily Pro-Imperial ship the crew and other attendees will be able to believe a Human in most any roll.
Vaya:
Just needs a hat, but that can be risky. Perhaps a servant type roll? As evidenced by just needing a hat, she has most the advantages Jenna has I feel. So long as she can wear a hat, I think?
Bowse:
I think can play the part of extremely wealthy non-human very well. Which, might get him on an Imperial ship but otherwise his ability and influence will only soar.
Venator:
As a Mandalorian he's tied to his suit of armor, preference seems to be to go toward the way of being added on security. Perhaps for one of our other disguised guests of for the boat itself? Naturally, going as the body-guard of one of our others as a guest will prove to be requiring less deceit in that field. May prove beneficial.
There was some talk with Jabber/Venator on how to approach this, and certainly we will be having to approach this from different angles with our variety. Venator, being a Mandalorian, will likely be best as an oddity brought on to entertain or special security.
Jabber, whom I adore with all affection, may have to rely on stealth until the opportune moment. Or, as an oddity brought on to entertain. Then again, if this is more open, who knows? Perhaps a Jawa walking around will not be the strangest thing.

I'm down for the heist.
I have Agility and decent Cunning.
I got Ranged [Light + Heavy], Streetwise, Stealth, Piloting, Vigilance, Melee, Gunnery
Venator will likely come in as security. It would be nice if he had another set of armour to switch into but he doesn't sadly.

He can probably keep his eyes on the other guards and let the infiltration team know their movements. Maybe quietly stun people in the back and stuff them in a closet or something.

It doesn't count as removing your helmet if you aren't going around as yourself right?

Re: Great Boat Heist on Day 3
Another thing to think of is what gear we have that might be the "right tool for the job" and give a boost, which might help us narrow down which plan/skills to use. I've got
Banal clothing -- blend in, an upgrade to not being recognized, but probably a boost to blending in with skullduggery or deception, or poking around with streetwise (as a servant, assistant, or flunky? Antennapalp covering included)
Ascension gun -- grappling hook, boost to climbing with Athletics, or maybe even an excuse to slip in a non-combat use of ranged: light
Infrabinocs: see through walls, boost to perception or maybe skullduggery for b&e?
Equipment can be traded around also, obviously (except maybe clothes), and might need to be. For example, I have 4g in skullduggery and computers, but not even a datapad to my name, so I'd probably be taking a setback to those unless someone could lend me something.

Re: Great Boat Heist on Day 3
So, I'ma just make an entry post as a regular guest at first to get things rolling. Most of what Jenna can bring aboard can fit in a purse, so, that's what I'm going to go with. Should our plan not wish to include that, she can just find a locker room somewhere and steal some clothes.
Easy peasy.

Re: Great Boat Heist on Day 3
I'm going to try and get in on the RP soon and not super sweat the details (I'm probably somebody's aide? Maybe Bowze?), but for rolls:
Heist rules for reference: after failure, auto-success. Can be done once per player, and the event specifies four times for the event, and we can’t use two in a row.
Other optimization thoughts (feel free to not follow me down this rabbit hole! I think we can figure out most of what happens fictionally based on cool plans, but this might help narrow down our constellation of options)
Save our biggest pools for the last 4 rolls (the Hard ones), or after a Heist success is needed on an averge roll (since the next one will be Hard and can’t use a Heist success)
Save our truly most awesome bestest pool for the roll after our 5th success (either it won’t matter because we can heist-success it, or we’ll really want our best pool because we can’t heist-success it)
Have unused big pools “in reserve” in case someone does need to use the heist auto-success, since the next roll we won’t be able to heist auto-succeed
Once someone has to use a heist success they shouldn’t be brought in for another roll except in case of emergencies, because then there’s no backup plan for failure
So, for example, one rough plan might be (pick from skills in parentheses based on criteria above):
Scope out the joint (skullduggery, perception, athletics, stealth)
Make nice among the guests (cool, charm, deception, skulduggery, knowledge underworld/outer rim, streetwise)
Weasel next to the captain for a recording (skullduggery, charm, deception, cool) OR fake our way on to boat as security team (cool, charm, deception, knowledge warfare/outer rim/underworld, coercion)
Spoof the recording to disable the alarms (computers, skullduggery, deception) OR get invited to Vault as a security team (cool, charm, deception, knowledge warfare/outer rim/underworld, coercion)
Crack vault (skulduggery, computers, mechanics)
Cover theft with elaborate distraction (deception, streetwise, mechanics)
Drop the loot in floating container for later pickup/washing up on shores based on known tides (knowledge outer rim/education/
Escape in lifeboat/swim to safety (survival, athletics, piloting)

My best relevant pools are, in descending order,
Streetwise (2y2g)
Knowledge Xenology (1y3g)
Deception (1y3g)
Perception (1y3g)
So as long as other people don't roll all of those I'll have something to contribute!
