"Uh, sorry for the delay," Trooper Dove said as the proper browbeaten soldier she was, stepping aside for the lady.

That still left three others.

Nudging Sloan (fairly gently), Petrus guided the remaining group forward.
This area was dark and poorly lit, the cells looked cramped with two to three prisoners per cell. They were making their way through the block when an officer glared at the group and approached and said, “What in the hell is this, ST-6547832 is that… is that a Boot-45 with an Armor-47, tell me that is now what I see!”

“Who is your CO!” It is a bit unclear which of the group he is talking to. Behind him are three storm troopers standing at the ready enjoying the dressing down.

OOC: Destiny flipped for complications.
Ah, kriff. Well, guess they had to make the best of it. "Sir!" Petrus saluted, then did his best to adopt a hangdog posture in armor. "Sir, I'm sorry. I've just had... had a really bad morning! The Inquisitor, she..."

He shook his head. "I'll get it taken care of, I promise, just don't report me. I promise, I'm sorry, I'll shine your shoes for a month, please..." He expected a little servile whining might be what the officer liked...

Petrus found that he could grovel really effectively. Well, Jedi were supposed to be humble...

"Yes Maam!"

And she was gone.

Letting out a slow breath of relief, Djanik glanced at Rayne and raised an eyebrow toward the door.

Good luck.

Getting back into his seat, he resumed the post flight checks and keyed on the imperial comms, to listen for any alerts.

The transport would be ready to leave on time.

He hears someone approaching and he was pretty sure Rayne had left the ship. Then a young woman’s voice piped in, “This is taking too long, hey sleemo this crate got any weapons?”

She is definitely not supposed to be here.

Djanik was out of the pilot seat with an antique, but very well maintained, Republic navy blaster drawn before the girl had finished speaking.

Taking in who was standing there, he was, for the briefest of moments, absolutely flabbergasted.

"Who in the world are you?"

“Relax kid, I’m a Jay, this crate got any weapons maybe we have to shoot our way out,” she said patting her own blaster under her poncho.

Djanik did not lower his blaster, though he did switch the setting to stun.

"I'm guessing you might be one of Scrap's friends, in which case, you've absolutely gone too far this time. This isn't a game."

Stepping toward the cockpit door, he moved past her so he could keep an eye on the ramp, to ensure nobody came wandering in and spotted the street child.

"This is no place for a kid, no matter how tough you think you are - people could, and likely will, die today."

He glanced around the interior of the cabin, and then glanced toward the hatch to the cargo deck below.

"Where on earth did you hide, anyway?"

"What the kriff is a scrap?" she retorted as she started walking towards the cockpit, "Look, sleemo, we might need to shoot our way out. If Sloan and Petrus are risking their butts then I am not sitting on the sidelines."

"So stop pointing and let's get ready to blow some stuff up... just in case."

"Oh great, you're not even part of the same gang."

Rolling his eyes, he stood in the door of the cockpit, and continued, "I assume you are here because of one of those bumbling Jedi - fine, but the best thing you can do is stay quiet and not touch anything."

His voice carried all the authority of years in command, and he added, lowering the blaster slightly, "If things get troublesome, yes, even zeta-class haulers have weapons, but using those would be our last resort. This thing isn't a Decimator."

She pointed, "Yeah but if you hit those things that say explosive, that should do the trick right."

A storing area for hypermatter fuel was what she pointed at.

She then narrowed her eyes and said, "Kriff, if Petrus told you about the Jedi I am going to demote him so hard. Don't worry kid, we Jedi will save you."

Floats tries to nod, like omelettes could beat chicken and waffles. Sacrilege, but a necessary deception. Now they just had to find somewhere to slip that darn chip in, maybe these security folk could be distracted for a few moments and then 'blam' the other team member could slot it in.

Then again, they could always hit all 3 of them until they passed out. Choices choices.

Her attempts to rile him up were disregarded for the moment. He just had to keep her from ruining this mission.

"I know this might seem fun to you, but there are a lot of lives at stake, so I take this matter seriously."

He didn't put the gun away, still, and the temptation to risk using it was growing.

"If you really want to help, you can stay hidden, and if we do have to shoot our way out, I'll tell you where the laser controls are, deal?"

“Listen sleemo, I ain’t no kid and I know this is a serious mission, I’m a Jedi we take care of our own. You didn't even know I was here, so relax, there will be plenty of Imps to shoot at,” she said looking at the controls.

Two troopers came up the ramp and one said, “Sir we just got word from the Inquisitor, all ships are grounded till her word. Power it down.”

Liua slipped behind a crate and waited.

OOC: Destiny flip.

Djanik, upon hearing the boots on the ramp, slipped his gun back into the holster.

Once they reached the top of the ramp, he turned to face them. Having received the message, he nodded, "Understood troopers. You can return to your posts. I'll start the shutdown sequence, but until we finish unloading, I'll need to leave the main reactor on to power the doors."

Moving to the cockpit, he sat, and began pushing controls, putting systems on standby one at a time, starting with the least important.

If that rescue party didn't move fast, he'd run out of systems to stall with.

Can use some of the Advantages to let Floats take a shot at rolling (salvaging the situation), and the rest to at least not seem suspicious in our offer?
