The creature snapped at her and then backed up and then crouched down in submission.


Horus said, "What... what sorcery is this?"

She pointed at it aggressively when it snapped. "Don't even think about it." When it crouched down in submission, her voice turned more calm. "There you go. Good... creature. Cat."

Then she stepped carefully around to retrieve the body. Her only answer to the Armorer was to pause quietly, then reply. "Don't know. Effective, for now."

The corpse was the one they were looking for the creatures seem to keep their distance now. Horus scooped up the remains.

Sacha waited until he was done, keeping the cats back before stepping out of the cave once they had it. She didn't let herself breathe any easier until they were out. Even then it was only slightly. She didn't really have an answer to his question. What sorcery was this was a very good question.

The duo make their way out but hear something prowling behind them.

Sacha heard it, glancing over her shoulder toward the sound. She didn't want to be hunted after all that.

The creature was following and then paused when she turned.

It didn't seem hostile and wasn't hiding, so it was either following the "food"... Or thought she was pack leader now because she'd made it submit.

She looked to the side. "You should go ahead to make sure it's not following the body."

Horus nodded and kept on walking and the creature lingered behind with Sacha.

She focused fully on the cat. "I guess you think I'm in charge now, huh? What am I gonna do about you?" She said, addressing the cat. Feeling a little silly, but it was more for herself than it. She carefully held her hand out to it. "Maybe we should hunt down something for you and your pack to eat that isn't our people."

She turned to leave the creature deeper into the wilds, as promised.
