For a few seconds there's a Nautolan extra in the background of a scene

"Hey, did y'all see that? What's his story I wonder, is he important?"

[Petrus Karath]

"... Sorry." Sacha, you kriffing moron, why did you have to say that out loud?

Petrus waved a hand and offered a wan smile, but his commentary seemed to have slowed.

The Caamasi, Aaliq, wandered the grounds. There were warriors training, here and there, dressed in a variety of outfits, and using a variety of exotic-looking edged weapons, as well as modern blasters.

The man who'd pushed her, Elgin, walked with her, his expression concerned, but his eyes as cold as ever. "Do you remember anything, Aaliq?" The Caamasi shook her head.

"No... the doctor said that I may never regain my memory... wait." She walked over to the corner of the hanger, her hands shaking.
I... I fell here, didn't I?

The cold blue eyes narrowed...

"I bet if you checked the feeds you'd find someone's written a story where they get together with Stormheart," murmured Vaya.

Sensing the shift in Petrus' mood, she pitched him a softball. "What's Elgin's deal again? Why's he such a sleemo?"

"I bet if you checked the feeds you'd find someone's written a story where they get together with Stormheart," murmured Vaya.

Sensing the shift in Petrus' mood, she pitched him a softball. "What's Elgin's deal again? Why's he such a sleemo?"

Petrus shifted, sitting up a little. "So... yeah. Elgin's kinda their friend, kinda not. It's hard to tell, honestly. He's the one who does ruthless things for the clan, things that Dacen wouldn't approve of. You know, murder and stuff. Aaliq found out..."

Petrus shrugged. "He's been stepping up the evil lately. Pushing her was just the latest."

It was a fascinating insight into so many things. None of which were probably intended to be by the writers. She could see how Petrus must have gotten sucked in to this false world. It was pure escapism.

"So, for how long will the series continue? Has someone planned out the whole story in advance?" Holodramas were still a bit of a mystery.

"And what is that Caamasi up to now? Why is he spying on his doctor? Is that the Nautolan you pointed out earlier, Floats? Now he has a clipboard and protective headgear."

"So, for how long will the series continue? Has someone planned out the whole story in advance?" Holodramas were still a bit of a mystery.

"And what is that Caamasi up to now? Why is he spying on his doctor? Is that the Nautolan you pointed out earlier, Floats? Now he has a clipboard and protective headgear."

The unmistakable roar of a mega-rancor!

Liua yawned and tried to keep up with everything but it was so hard and she had been up so early and then it was such a busy day and then she was dozing away lightly.

Jenna hadn't really been paying too much attention to the flick, it wasn't her style she supposed. Not the show itself, really, but watching shows. Still, she tried to entertain her brother with it sometimes. Especially a night like tonight.

"Hun," Jenna said softly, putting a light hand on Liua's shoulder, leaning over her seat from behind, "did you wanna lay down?"

Sloan had been silent through most of the show.

Slightly tear stricken, he tore large chunks of flesh from one of the large birds he brought. He hadn't expected to get so emotional over a drama.

Petrus reached over, patting Sloan on the shoulder. This guy gets it. Petrus nodded.

Jaina had pursued her quarry, and found the hidden base where the prisoners were supposed to be held. But a mysterious Mandalorian watched her through the scope of their sniper rifle...

Their finger tightened on the trigger...

Jaina suddenly looked towards the shooter, her eyes wide...

Credits began to roll. More music began to play, this song mostly horns, drums, and unified chanting.

Petrus cleared his throat. "So. Uh. What'd everyone think?" He smiled sheepishly.

Sloan very slowly began clapping his hefty lizard claws together, in hopes that others would join.

Dove had just been observing the interplay between Petrus and the girls. Kind of making her and Mia into the chaperoning moms that made sure the kids were behaving well enough.

She just had a very knowing smirk as Petrus were checking everyone's impressions of the show, and she joined Sloan in giving a brief applause. "Seems like you liked it, big guy," Dove remarked to the Trandoshan.

The applause drew a bemused look from Vaya, but with a glance at Fathynyu besides her she made a polite gesture of it (rendered soundless by still having a glass in one hand).

"Well, Petrus, that was an episode of a wildly popular holodrama," she deadpanned, and then she toasted the crowd and said more warmly. "A good party, too."

[Xanna Teevou]

She was a little too surprised to clap but she sort of joined in on the basis of Sloan's enthusiasm. Wasn't that something you did when the actors could see and hear you? "It reminds me a little of The Adventures of... Ah, the adventure stories I read as a child. Only with added sex, blood, cultural stereotypes and amnesia." Also the adventures of Xanna Teevou had a less confusing overarching story and a sensible dress code.

"It was a very nice party, thank you Petrus. It was lovely to meet you all." She looked around at all of the new faces, her old friends, and fellow Jays.

Liua slowly rubbed her eyes and then realized it was done said, "Huh... oh yeah it was awesome!"

"Come," she said softly, tapping her shoulder lightly again. Glancing up toward the rest of the group, softly spoken for the kid but more directly spoken for the rest, "it was a pleasure to have you all. Thank you for coming," she smiled.

Moving around to the front of the seat she said toward the girl, but within the general area too if someone wanted to convince her otherwise, "If you've no one to get you home I'll set you up in my room for tonight."

"Oh I am stayin... living with Xanna," she said proudly.

"Thanks though."

Jenna smiled, soft and warm, holding a thought of how simple a life this was for a moment and how she never wanted to let gentle moments like this go again, but broke from it before long and focused on Xanna, "Need any help getting her ready and home then?"

"Oh, man." Petrus shook his head, grinning. "This is like the third amnesia plotline they've done. I swear, by the time the show's over, everyone's gonna have had amnesia. And a Caamasi, too." Caamasi, of course, were notable for having perfect memory.

He looked around, smiling, clearly pleased that everyone seemed to have a good time. "Well hey, maybe we should do this again sometime, huh?"

Jenna smiled, soft and warm, holding a thought of how simple a life this was for a moment and how she never wanted to let gentle moments like this go again, but broke from it before long and focused on Xanna, "Need any help getting her ready and home then?"

"Thank you Jenna. I should get back to the Kitchen after I drop Liua off at home. You have had a long day...well, we all have, let us be completely honest." With a wink for Liua she looked back at Jenna. "Do you know where all of our things ended up?"

It wasn't the most untidy place she had seen, but with so many people here she did not know where to begin.

"Oh, man." Petrus shook his head, grinning. "This is like the third amnesia plotline they've done. I swear, by the time the show's over, everyone's gonna have had amnesia. And a Caamasi, too." Caamasi, of course, were notable for having perfect memory.

Eyes flicking to Liua she nodded. "It would be nice to see you all again."

Jenna gave her a nod, a smile, "'Course, you say your goodbyes and farewells. I'll go get everything together for you both," with that she disappeared quickly into the background of the room. It was a fairly small space given where they lived, could hear one another at talking volume from one end of the open apartment to the other in the kitchen area.

However, with her focus, Jenna may as well have disappeared from the main fold for a few short minutes. Collecting everything, double-checking her mental list, and ensuring nothing was damaged, dirty, or left behind.
