This is my lightsaber, it makes woosh sounds (D4, EA)

[Verse Aura]

Today was the day Liua would craft her own lightsaber; reminding Verse of when she created hers. And also serving as a reminder that she still hadn't gotten back to the task of improving hers after her failure to do so the last time. So, while she'd come here to meditate, she decided to take advantage of the fuzzy warm feeling she got in the cave as well.

She took apart the hilt, did some minor repair work on the internals, and then took out the crystal, focusing on it. Improving it.

While Verse continued to work on her saber, Qareme was nearby. Her saber was unlit as she was going through a simple kata out in the field. Calmly making each move without thinking, creating a flowing display.

Meanwhile, Verse finished her work and flipped on her saber...

...then immediately flipped herself through the air and did a bunch of wildly incoherent moves.

"Woosh, eheee, kccchtttt, woosh!"

She giggled and turned the weapon off again, content with her little bit of fun before she walked out of the cave to join Qareme.

"That's pretty poor form Qareme," she said, "you've even forgotten to turn it on."

[Qareme Torth]

"I decided it would be disrespectful to ignite my saber at another persons home when they are not present to give permission" Qareme commented as she ran through her kata "did your modifications work correctly?"

[Verse Aura]

"Oh," she hadn't even considered that it might be disrespectful. Fortunately nobody had seen her lighting the weapon and making those sounds.

"Yes, I think so. Also, I was joking, your form is pretty good actually."

[Qareme Torth]

Qareme came to a stop, looking at Verse with a nod and a smile.

"Thank you. It has improved considerably thanks to training with you for these last few weeks. I feel more certain in my maneuvers. I would like to hope it will not be required, but I feel a confrontation coming in the near future."

[Verse Aura]

"Well, yes..." it had been her vision there would be, of course. "...and it's good to just fall back into the old routines again."

[Qareme Torth]

"Or begin new routines. While my Master put time into our training with the saber, as her visions became more intense her ability to fight waned. Our discussions were often more philosophical. I worried for her by the end, but I always trusted she knew what to do."

Qareme took a few steps back then motioned to the floor.

"If you need some space to practice feel free. I do not think Master Hin smuggled many practice weapons away so if you require lighting of your saber I will pretend I saw nothing."

[Verse Aura]

"Well, I suppose it doesn't really matter if it's on or not. It's not like the blade weighs anything, right? Although somehow it doesn't feel quite right without the humming."

[Qareme Torth]

"I would offer you my staff if you wished a slightly heavier training weapon, however it would be unfamiliar to you. The feeling is certainly different when the saber is powered down though. You would look like you are just swinging your hands around" Qareme smiled "the offer is there, both for your lighting of the saber and the borrowing of my staff."
